Congratulations Gary and David on your 25th SMO anniversary.

It seems like it wasn't too long ago, Gary, we saw you and a friend passing football in our front yard.
Soon we learned it was the boy from up the street and his name was David Murphy. You two finally
changed to the street, throwing and kicking football, and having a good time. Even when your football hit a transformer on the light pole (never knew which one of you did it) and knocked the power out on our street.

Then there was the kid across the street who joined you two. His name was Ken Allen. Many a summer night the three of you stood under the street light or sat on our steps talking joking and laughing. This friendship went all through high school, Gary and David started out paying POP Warner football for the
O'Henry lions Club. then later Gary and David heled coach ball, and then Gary payed softball with David's church team and later joined his church.

You went different to Colleges . David graduated from UNC and Gary from Elon. Paul and I remember
Gary coming home to us and telling us he was going into business with David. They thought they could make a go of it and they had David's dad to hel get them started.

We never got to know Mr. Murphy well, but we could tell Gary had high regard for him. Before we got to know David's Mom, Faye, Gary had told us what a good cook she was.

Soon after your business started going good, Gary married Lisa, and a little later David married
Paula.

God has blessed both of you with wonderful families, a thriving business which you have worked
so hard to get , and with God by your side, we are sure it will continue for years to come.

Happy 25th
With love.
Paul and Louise

David and Gary;

I would like to congratulate you both on achieving tremendous success in reaching 25 years of dedicated service in this competitive industry. It took Faith, hard work and dedication to start a business with a vacuum cleaner and 200.00 dollars. It has been stated, that 50% of most business, either fail or in the process of closing after 4 years of services. Wow! What an amazing feat to smash this statistic and to endure 25 years in this industry is truly amazing.

When I first met you guys back in 1995. I knew I would be involved in something special. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you both for giving me a chance to grow with your company; which allowed me to be a part of a special family. I remember my first job as a vacuum tech vacuuming floors in the Green Valley building. In those days we only had a small crew of part timer’s working at night. Now, this building no longer exists. I am so fortunate to have started from the bottom learning new skills, which led me to experience several different supervisors’ positions. Today, I am the Quality Assurance manager working for the President of this company.

In closing;
Let me say this, I am proud to have been able to play a small role in the achievements’ this company has made. I would like to leave you both with this thought. “Keep the Faith, Believe that your company operates in the Super Natural and in all things Trust in God. “ Let your experiences form these past 25 years gain much respect from your Customers and your Employees. Your faith and your consistent beliefs in displaying integrity are the steps that have gotten you to this point. These are the key points that will propel your company into the New Millennium. Once again, I would like to offer my congratulation for 25 wonderful years of service.
May God continue to be a blessing to you both.

Sincerely;
Duryea Taylor

Your business approach and service has worked your way into that select list of "preferred contractors" that I choose to work with and refer to others. Congratulations! Your hard work and business ethic has won you praise from your clients and business associates. I enjoy working with your team!

Congratulations on your accomplishment of 25 years. Gary and David have done an excellent job in growing the business (along with a few others) from practically nothing, and you are all deserving of the rewards.

Gary, you and David have come a long way from a borrowed vacuum cleaner and $200 in working capital. Over the years, SMO has demonstrated a level of integrity and work ethic that is well above the industry standard. Thank you for the leadership that you have shown, as well as the friendship, over the last many years. We wish you, David, and the entire SMO family nothing but success in the future. Keep the Son in your eyes and continue with the same Spirit of Excellence that you started with!

David and Gary;
18 years and 9 days ago I started a journey with you two that I am sure altered my life. I knew, when I met David, that I could be an important part of his growing company. Then I met Gary and I was sure I could be a great asset to their company. I NEVER would have dreamed it would be in the form of sales. I had never been in sales, unless you count selling girl scout cookies. I also never dreamed that they would be a great asset to my life.

As you may recall, my background was as an Office Manager, Business Associate and Assistant Property Manager. In each of those positions I worked with sales people and thought all salespeople were pretty slack. Of course, now I know that sales is not a slack job!

David, when you brought me into sales, I am sure that God got a great belly laugh. Some of the salespeople I worked with would laugh too, if they knew I landed in their field. Thanks for convincing me that sales was fun and that I could grow my income and my skills by working hard. Not only did you teach me how to work smarter, you offered me a golden ticket and the journey is still interesting and challenging everyday. You are my best mentor. Thank you.

Gary, you truly are my brother. You have taught me so much about being a strong example of SMO values and God's expectation of us. I remember once, your Pastor called the SMO office and asked to speak to Pastor Gary and I panicked. I thought you had finished your degree in Divinity and we were about to lose you! Thank goodness your Pastor realized he had upset me and told me that we are all ministers of God. I was so relieved and then thought, "Well that was selfish!" Thanks for ministering through SMO :)

I deeply appreciate the opportunity, support, leadership and friendship you both have extended me and my family. Your example and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and our Father brought me right back to understanding how much He loves me and requires me to love all his children, my fellow man.

Thank you for the gift of life with the Lord, a place to serve our brothers and sisters and an opportunity to grow. May all the blessing you have shared with me come back to you and your families a hundred fold.

May God bless you every day.
Diana
