Congratulations to Maria Garcia Rios, SMO’s Team Member of the Month for August 2026! Maria has been with SMO since the beginning of 2025 and currently serves as a Supervisor in Georgia.
During a recent visit to Athens, SMO’s Training & Safety Manager had the opportunity to work with Maria for three days and see firsthand the effort she puts into her work and supporting the account. After the visit, he shared:
“Maria stayed focused on her tasks, as well as those requiring attention in order to maintain the satisfaction of our customer. I was impressed with her above & beyond approach to every expectation of getting routines done. Her untiring attitude and her ability to cover areas/routines that had not been fully staffed was met with a positive willingness. Maria is exemplary in her performance.”
For Maria, one of the best parts of the job is pretty straightforward: “I like the work, in general!” She also appreciates something especially important outside of work, sharing, “I like that I was able to get a schedule that gives me time with my kids.”
