Supreme Maintenance Organization (SMO) is proud to announce the recipient of the 2024 SMO Leadership Award—an honor that recognizes exceptional leadership, dedication, and alignment with our company’s mission and values. Now in its third year, the Leadership Award has become one of the most meaningful recognitions within our organization.
Each year, SMO leaders across departments are nominated for their outstanding performance, team support, and commitment to continuous improvement. With so many dedicated and long-tenured leaders at SMO, choosing a winner is always a challenge—but this year, one individual truly stood out.
We are thrilled to recognize Duryea “Juice” Taylor as the 2024 SMO Leadership Award Winner!
A Career of Dedication and Leadership
Juice joined SMO in 1997 and currently serves as Quality Assurance Manager, playing a critical role in maintaining and improving cleaning standards across North and South Carolina. Over his impressive tenure, Juice has held nearly every role in the Operations Department—including Cleaning Technician, Day Porter, Supervisor, and Account Manager. His versatility, reliability, and servant leadership have made him a cornerstone of the SMO leadership team.
Whether it’s moving supplies, assisting with start-ups, handling floor work, or covering open shifts, Juice never hesitates to step in and support his team—even after hours. His willingness to go above and beyond has made a lasting impact on both his coworkers and SMO’s customers.
As the 2024 Leadership Award recipient, Juice received a custom-engraved plaque, $500 in cash, a permanent place on the SMO Wall of Honor, and company-wide recognition across our internal and social media platforms.
